What is Sport-Shop?
Sport Shop is an online retailer of sport goods. We do not have a physical store similar to general retail stores. We have copied what is happening in the USA and Europe where more than 80% of sporting goods is bought via the internet.
Sport-Shop is 100% on the internet. You make your choice from pictures and descriptions of products on the site, order it directly on the site and pay on the site. Your order will then delivered to your doorstep whether at home or the office, via courier within 1 to 7 days after receipt of payment. Please note no deliveries are made over weekends and public holidays.
Are the prices on the website for real?
Yes, all prices are for real and are VAT inclusive. The delivery fees are R92.50 per order. (Only within RSA. Additional transportation costs might be added for other countries). The system calculates the delivery fee automatically and this amount is added to your product cost once the order is placed.
We also maintain that we have the lowest possible price. Should you find us to be more expensive, please feel free to inform us accordingly.
How do I place an order?
It is very simple. Once you've decided on a product to purchase, "click" on the product and then "click" "add to cart". Once you have added all the products you wish to purchase click on "checkout". The system will guide you to the register page for you to sign up as a user with your own password for security purposes, to add your delivery address and payment options: what method of payment you would wish to use (credit card; EFT; Direct Deposit).
Can I track my order once placed?
Yes, with each step you will receive an e-mail detailing the progress of your order. On placement of the order, you will receive confirmation of the order. On receipt of payment, you will receive an updated status of the order and finally, on shipment, you will receive an e-mail confirming shipment. Please note: on the confirmation of shipment e-mail, a courier tracking number is placed for your convenience. Can I contact you should I have any queries on any products?
Our contact details are on the website. We prefer electronic communication (e-mail) in order to ensure proper, factual exchange of information. We cannot guarantee that the right personnel for your specific query would be available telephonically at all times should you wish to contact us directly. Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and the appropriate staff member will reply to your queries very quickly.
What happens if products are out of stock?
If you place an order and the product happens to be out of stock, we will contact you by e-mail to inform you. We will also recommend a similar, available product. If you are not comfortable with the replacement product a full refund will be made right away, and confirmation of payment will be sent to your e-mail address.
What happens if I order the wrong size/product and/or the wrong item is delivered?
Please make sure of the sizes prior to placing your order. If you are not sure, you are welcome to contact us. In the event of wrong sizes ordered, we will replace the goods but the transportation costs will be for your cost.
In the event of an incorrect delivery, we will replace the product free of charge.
What happens if my product has a defect?
Please see our return policy under the heading "Customer Services" on any of our web pages. We generally replace all defective goods.
